Leftovers 4 Locals would not be able to carry out our mission of supporting the local pantries and organizations who help the underprivileged in our area without the help of all of our amazing volunteers!

 

Some of the areas where you can help are:

• Pick up leftovers from travelers by appointment

• Pick up leftovers from drop off boxes

• Set up a drop off location during busy check out days for guests to drop off leftovers as they're going home

• Help to organize leftovers and distribute to the various locations in Taney and Stone counties

• Help with advertising and social media

One in five children and one in six senior adults are facing food insecurity on a daily basis in Taney and Stone counties. Leftovers 4 Locals is working hard to fight food insecurity by collecting food and other items from generous travelers as they leave town and donating those items to community Blessing Boxes, pantries and other organizations who help provide for our underprivileged families.
