How Can You Help LEFTOVERS 4 LOCALS?

Leftovers 4 Locals would not be able to carry out our mission of supporting the local pantries and organizations that help the underprivileged in our area without the help of all of our amazing volunteers!

 

Some of the areas where you can help are:

• Pick up leftovers from travelers by appointment.

• Pick up leftovers from drop-off boxes.

• Set up a drop-off location during busy checkout days for guests to drop off leftovers as they're going home.

• Help to organize leftovers and distribute them to the various locations in Taney and Stone Counties in Missouri.

• Help with advertising and social media.

• Allow us to place a free magnet on the refrigerator of each of your guest units.

• Allow us to place a drop-off box near your checkout area, which we will pick up on a regular basis.

• Include Leftovers 4 Locals contact information and details in your check-in and check-out instructions.

• Include Leftovers 4 Locals contact information and details in your newsletters.

• Consider donating damaged towels, blankets, sheets and other household items to Leftovers 4 Locals for families in need.

One in five children and one in six senior adults are facing food insecurity on a daily basis in Taney and Stone Counties in Missouri.

 

Leftovers 4 Locals is working hard to fight food insecurity by collecting food and other items from generous travelers as they leave town and donating those items to community Blessing Boxes, pantries, and other organizations that help provide for our underprivileged families.
